Our School Organized Teachers And Students To Visit iFlytek University of Science and Technology

In response to the national strategy for the development of artificial intelligence and to deepen the integration of industry, academia, and research in the field of artificial intelligence, on March 21, 2025, Qi Yudong, Dean of BNUBS, Zhou Jianghua, Director of the MBA Education Center, Yu Chen, MBA Employment Supervisor, Xu Kaige, Double shouldered Counselor, Gao Juntong, MBA Program External Mentor, and Lu Jun led a team to visit and exchange ideas at iFlytek Beijing headquarters. 46 undergraduate and MBA students from the School participated in this event.

Firstly, under the guidance of the staff, the teachers and students visited the iFlytek Intelligent Exhibition Hall and learned about the development history, business sectors, and technological innovation achievements of iFlytek. The exhibition hall vividly showcases iFlytek's exploration and practice in education, medical applications, commercial offices, and other fields through multimedia interaction, real-life simulations, and other methods. IFLYTEK's simultaneous interpreting conference system, dual screen translator, intelligent office book and other products have attracted extensive attention from teachers and students. These products not only reflect the profound accumulation of iFLYTEK in AI technology, but also show how AI technology can bring convenience and change to people's work and life. Especially based on the iFlytek Spark Cognitive Big Model V3.0, the vertical domain intelligent tool Spark Research Assistant is launched, which deeply integrates multimodal interaction, complex data processing, and interdisciplinary knowledge integration capabilities, allowing students to have a visual understanding of the application of artificial intelligence technology in the scientific research field.

Subsequently, the event entered into a discussion and exchange session. Ren Pingping, Associate Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice President of iFlytek, welcomed the arrival of teachers and students from BNUBS, and expressed anticipation for potential future cooperation between the two parties. Dean Qi Yudong expressed sincere gratitude for the warm reception of iFlytek and highly praised its outstanding achievements in technology, products, application scenarios, and corporate status as a national enterprise, state-owned enterprise, listed company, and science and technology innovation enterprise, as well as its impressive entrepreneurial spirit. He also looked forward to more faculty and students from the School participating in the application and promotion of artificial intelligence technology in the future.

Subsequently, Li Jiaqi, Vice President of iFlytek Beijing Research Institute, provided a detailed introduction to iFlytek's core technologies and latest developments in the field of artificial intelligence. The company continuously improves performance of large models through pre training, supervised fine-tuning, and reinforcement learning based on human feedback, making significant progress in text generation, language understanding, knowledge Q&A, logical reasoning, mathematical ability, coding ability, and multimodal ability. It provides efficient and intelligent solutions for many enterprises and institutions, demonstrating the strong strength of iFlytek's domestically produced computing platform and open-source models.

After the theme sharing, teachers and students actively asked questions to the iFlytek team about the cutting-edge issues, application challenges, and future development trends of artificial intelligence technology. Through in-depth communication and discussion, teachers and students not only have a more thorough understanding of iFlytek's technological strength and business model, but also have a clearer understanding of the future development direction of the entire artificial intelligence industry.

This visit provided valuable opportunities for teachers and students of BNUBS to gain a deeper understanding of artificial intelligence technology and its applications, and also built a bridge for future cooperation between the School and iFlytek in research, teaching, talent cultivation, and other areas. Both sides stated that they will fully leverage their respective advantages and jointly explore new models of deep integration between artificial intelligence and economic management, making positive contributions to cultivating high-quality talents that can meet the needs of future social development.
