Our School Successfully Held a National Level Project Application Guidance And Exchange Activity

At present, the national and provincial level project applications have entered the critical stage of final sprint submission. In order to assist teachers in accurately grasping the key points and rigorously organizing the logic during project application, the School has carefully prepared and successfully held a special activity on project application guidance and exchange in Conference Room 1710 on March 12, 2025.

At the opening of the event, Professor Wei Hao, Associate Dean of the School, briefly reviewed the previous thematic activities and introduced in detail the two invited guests, namely, Professor Tan Xiaofen from School of Economics and Management of Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics and Professor Liu Hong from School of Labor and Personnel of Renmin University of China.

Professor Tan Xiaofen is a professor and doctoral supervisor at the School of Economics and Management, Beihang University. She has long been dedicated to research in international financial markets, cross-border capital flows, exchange rate market changes, financial risks, and other areas. She has been selected for the Ministry of Education's New Century Excellent Talents Support Program, the National Major Talent Project Youth Project, and has led major projects funded by the National Social Science Fund, the National Natural Science Foundation Key Project, and the Ministry of Education's Philosophy and Social Sciences Late stage Funding Major Project.

Professor Liu Hong is a professor and doctoral supervisor of the School of Labor and Personnel of Renmin University of China. He has been selected into the National Youth Talent Program, the "New Century Excellent Talents" Support Program of the Ministry of Education, the Youth Talent Program of Beijing Universities and Colleges, and Wu Yuzhang, a young scholar of Renmin University of China. His main research fields are social security, health economics, and labor economics. He has presided over major projects of the National Social Science Fund, general projects of the National Natural Science Fund, and youth projects of the National Natural Science Fund.

Professor Wei Hao emphasized that the two experts have rich experience in national level project application and evaluation. The application for national level research projects is not only a key step for teachers to reach new heights in their academic careers, but also a core driving force for the vigorous development of academic disciplines in the college. We express our sincere gratitude to the two professors for their strong support for the academic development of the college despite their busy schedules.

Before the official start of the event, the two experts had carefully studied the application forms of the attending teachers in advance. During the event, two experts provided in-depth guidance to the attending teachers' notebooks one-on-one, analyzed the problems accurately from all aspects, and proposed highly constructive and practical improvement solutions. They shared their application skills and enthusiastically encouraged teachers to actively apply.

With the successful conclusion of the communication and guidance session, participating teachers have provided feedback that this event is like a "timely rain", enlightening everyone. It not only clarifies the direction of application modification, but also provides a solid focus for subsequent scientific research ideas. The School will also take this as an opportunity to continuously deepen the organized scientific research mode, comprehensively strengthen the support for teachers' scientific research work and the quality of fine services, fully promote the application of projects to stand out in fierce competition, effectively improve the success rate of winning bids, and inject a continuous stream of power into the academic development of the School .
