University Paris Dauphine Visited Our School

On the morning of March 20, 2025, a delegation led by Nicolas Berland, the Director of the EDBA and EMBA programs at the University Paris Dauphine in France, Bernard Fernandez, and Horacio, the Academic Director of EDBA, visited our School. Dean Qi Yudong met with guests, including Liu Min, Deputy Director of the International Exchange and Cooperation Department, Zhou Jianghua, Director of the MBA Center, Yang Dan, Director of the MPAcc Program, Wang Xiukun from the International Exchange and Cooperation Department, and Shang Yihong from the International Exchange and Cooperation Office of the School.



Qi Yudong welcomed the guests and reviewed the long-term and good cooperative relationship between the two schools. He mentioned that Beijing Normal University and University Paris Dauphine established a deep friendship and cooperation foundation many years ago, and the two sides have carried out extensive and effective cooperation in various fields such as academic exchanges, teacher visits, and student exchanges. Dean Qi stated that the educational philosophy and academic pursuits of Paris National University and Beijing Normal University are highly aligned. He hoped that through this in-depth exchange, the cooperation between the two sides in MBA and EMBA programs can be further deepened, opening up new paths for cultivating management talents with international perspectives and innovative spirit.

Professor Nicolas Berland, a member of the University Paris Dauphine delegation, expressed his gratitude for the warm reception of BNUBS and highly praised the past cooperation achievements between the two universities. He pointed out that the cooperation between the two sides not only promotes academic exchanges and talent cultivation, but also makes positive contributions to cultural and educational exchanges between China and France. Professor Berland looks forward to further expanding the scope of cooperation and enhancing the level of collaboration through this meeting, creating more opportunities for communication and learning between teachers and students from both universities.

Liu Min, Associate Director of the International Cooperation and Exchange Department of Beijing Normal University, pointed out that MBA education has important strategic significance in the context of globalization. The cooperation between Beijing Normal University and University Paris Dauphine National Congress in MBA programs has broad development prospects. Both sides can jointly create a management education brand with international influence through resource sharing and complementary advantages.

Subsequently, both parties had detailed discussions on projects such as short-term student exchange programs, MBA dual degree programs, and remote teaching. This negotiation meeting has laid a solid foundation for future cooperation between the two schools. Both parties expressed their expectation to promote the development of international education and provide students with broader learning and development platforms through further cooperation.

Universit é Paris Dauphine PSL, also known as the University of Paris Dauphine or simply known as Paris IX, was established in 1968 and focuses on teaching and research in management science, accounting, law, finance, information technology, mathematics, journalism, and corporate strategy. It is the first public university in France to receive EQUIS certification from the European Foundation for Management Development and is also one of the best universities in the field of economics and management in France. In 2010, Paris IX merged with top French universities and research institutions such as É cole Normale Sup é rieure, É cole de France, French National Centre for Scientific Research, and Marie Curie Institute to form the Paris University of Arts and Sciences (PSL). In the 2024 QS World University Rankings, Paris University of Arts and Sciences is ranked 24th in the world and first in France.
